In order to help a fellow Mainer and Street Cycle Rat packer (not to mention a classmate at the MSF school up here), I thought I would get Jason started off a with a question that is on my mind.

I recently purchased a new bike (not a Triumph) but found I couldn't really enjoy it until I farkled it a bit by adding some of my own gear. I thought I would start a poll as to what is the first thing you put on a bike when you acquire it? For me, it is my XM radio. I don't listen to XM any other time except in my vehicles but somehow it seems to complete the experience.

What is your first addition?

Fred

Heated grips!! They will always be my first addition to any bike I ever own in the future. Once you've had them you'll want em!!! :-D

What a noob... I still have my first bike..... lol... The first thing I'd put on would be risers and a taller screen... Can't see moving to a new bike for years, so I'll reserve farklization to see what the future brings...

Fred, was it your tiger I rode at the ERC?

Tank bag.

But if I really don't fit it, new bars/risers/spacers.
