helmet to helmet wireless com?

Just starting to check out the above. Any recommendations? Want wireless, and don't need any capabilities other than helmet to helmet com.

Thanks.

HJC Chatterbox comes to mind...

I would avoid the HJC stuff, poor quality for the price. If you don't want/need aux audio input and don't mind mono, there are several bluetooth setups available some will even work with phones if you want to be distracted while driving ;-).

Wife and I rode for a couple of years using chatterbox, they work sorta okay but don't expect vox to work at all.. and don't be surprised if things break quickly. To be useful you really need to but a remote PTT button, longer headset coiled cord and put it in a tankbag. Mounting to the helmet is problematic, and adds weight (albeit not that much).

I'd recommend searching for bike to bike communications on one of the larger forums (advrider.com and sport-touring.net come to mind) as you'll get a ton of information.

I am also looking into a comm's system, this has a lot of inputs good thing's like, I-pod, radar detector and PTT I really like.
I do not have this item yet but think it's the one I am going with....when I have money to buy it, seems I keep buying new bike mod's must stop .......but I can't........bike needs more.....

Something with bluetooth would probably be the best option!

The Cardo Scala Rider Q2 works very well as a rider-to-pillion bluetooth intercomm. It has the range (short) for bike-to-bike, but I haven't personally tried that. I have talked to the wife when she was in the house and I was outside in the driveway; it worked/sounded just like when she is on the back of the bike. We have been using them continuously for 18 months without problems. Good stuff!

I have Blue Ant interphone. We use it bike to bike, not a huge range (a block or so) but crystal clear. Also has a good battery life.
