Saddle Bag Fit Question
I am exploring options for adding smallish saddle bags to my Bonnie for day trips & commuting. I have it narrowed down to three choices: Cortech Sport, Nelson Riggs Silver Streak & Triumph sport bags (links to each below). I would prefer a frameless system, for easy on/off, which I think might knock the Triumph set out of the running.
I would like to know if any, or all, or these can be installed with the straps under the seat (as opposed to slung over it) thus allowing me to keep the cowl on the bike preserving the overall look of the it. I have seen several members mention each of these bags, so I am hoping someone with experience could help me out.
Thanks!

My Bonnie: The tank and cowl have a yellow stripe, which I was hoping to keep while adding the saddle bags. I don't want to damage the tank or cowl with straps or magnetic bags, so I really was hoping for a setup that mounts under the seat.

Hello Fixer, I can't help you out on the bags, but just wanted to say your Bonnie looks real nice!

Thanks, Lance. I've done a little work to her, but most of the credit goes to another member though (Zam70) as I bought her from him. Best part is that she runs as good as she looks - love it!

Bump
I'm bumping the thread as I am still hoping someone out there might be able to give me some insight.
I've already looked through the saddlebag threads on the site, but am still unclear if my bike would require saddlebag brackets or not.

Thanks, Zam. I have looked through the saddlebag thread multiple times. I also love the leather city bag + tool bag combo in the pictures you inserted!
I actually ordered 10 different types of tank bags, tail bags & a renntec rack for me to try out this weekend before I go the saddlebag route. Hopefully, I'll end up with combo of a small tool bag mounted on the rear like in the picture plus either a tail or tank bag for extra space.
Should be fun to mix & match and see what I like! I post some pics when I am done.

How did it work out?
Fixer,
Which did you end up with? I'm looking at the same, smallish saddle bags. I can't find a picture of a bonnie with any of those sport-bike bags.
Man, I would love to see a pic.

Mingo,
I opted for a Timbuk2 Messenger bag for daily commutes and a Riggs tankbag for weekend rides when I don't want to carry the messenger bag but I need the extra space.
I ordered multiple styles (4-5) of saddlebags from newenough.com and tried them all out on the Bonnie, but I just wasn't crazy about the look of the saddlebags that were compatible with the clearance I have with the Predators pipes.
