Hello all

I´m visiting Chicago in 2 weeks. It would be a good time to buy some gear (yeah still cheapest place to buy it is in the States ), aka Spidi pants and Puma or Dainese boots. Anyone knows a good store (preferably in central area)?

IN Chicago
MCC in Villa Park is the only place to sell triumph gear in the area.
we also have South Suburban Triumph
both shops are small
if you want general biking stuff- check out Chicago Cycles in Lincolnwood...just north of the city..
lotta stuff there- and i mean lotts stuff there

All locations will sell items at MSRP though
try it on and go back to the web to buy what you want ...

Check on ebay. There are a couple good sellers who are based in Michigan. Shipping will be fast...and free! Plus you won't pay sales tax.

I haven't found any deals in Chicago I'm afraid to say. Chicago Cycles off Touhy has a nice showroom but they will want every penny of MSRP on pretty much everything in the store and you'll pay another 10% on sales tax. I usually trek up to Shoreline Motorsports in Racine, Wisconsin because he gives Triumph owners 10% off and the tax isn't so bad. Then again, it takes over an hour to get there so its gotta be worth my while to go. Especially with all the jacked-up highway construction right now. Online is usually the way to go in Chicago.
