Chrome Messenger Bags questions!!!
can i get some inputs from you fellows who are using these chrome brand messenger bags?
heard a lot of good things about them, and went to a local bicycle shop today to try one on and physically check it out.
the thing is built solidly, and looks great!!! i love the little seatbelt gizmo, but my primary concern is how they sit on the rider.
i live in vegas, and it's MAD HOT in the summer especially when riding with my mesh jacket.
i've given up on my backpack, because it just sits against my back now allowing my mesh jacket to vent properly and it makes my back crazy sweaty and hot.
on the way to the bike shop, i thought it was a standard messenger that kinda was offset, but to my surprise it also sits right against your back!! although, i noticed there is a good amount of room from the bag to your back to allow ventilation, but i'm not sure how they would fair once weighted with groceries, books, etc...since obviously in the store i could only try it on empty
so here i am seeking guidance again on a item, can anyone chime in into how "cool" these actually are when riding in hot temps?
i'm mainly looking for something to use for school and work, and an occassionaly weekend 200-300 mile trip cuz i don't have saddlebags or anything else.
thanks guys!!!
