One of my helmets a Nolan N-30, I use for trips on the highway. Does anyone know of a way to lock it to the bike when away from the bike?

Anyone have anything like this? What are your thoughts?

I am a tiny bit wary of leaving my helmet with my bike, but if the lock was good enough I might be ok with it. I just kinda worry about people tampering with it. If I get back to my bike and my helmet is tampered with or gone, then obviously I'm screwed...

i just took a piece of metal, cut it into the shape of a "T" with a hole in the bottom, i slide it through the d-rings on the helmet and then padlock it anywhere on the bike

I bought a universal helmet lock at the local Harley dealer and mounted it to the frame, by the seat. Cost $20, easy to use.

I used to lock it to my old bike a few years back. Some jackass cut the D-Ring strap and took the helmet. Now explain to me what good a helmet it without the strap? :
