2012 Thruxton Power Commander III usb map help

I am slightly confused ( also very hard headed and stubborn as an Ass ) I'm trying to figure out which is the better map to start out with. My current mod on my bike is a D&D 2-2 full system. The bike seems to run good but i know i have to do something with this ecu. I was told to do the tuneecu map but i had already started messing with the power commander and the whole stubborn as an ass part also came in to play. My question to the people willing to help are which of these is a good starting point as i plan to add the air box kit in the distant future. Sorry if my English skills are lacking. Thank you friends.

1. the stock pc map
2. British customs slip on's and stock air filter
3. British customs mufflers and K&N pod filters

Sell the power commander and go direct TuneECU. I don't understand why people put a component in between the ECU and the fuel/air when the can directly modify the ECU. Unless I am missing something. Not to mention it's 20 bucks vs what, 300?

One of the things often overlooked with the PC is to 'zero' the TPS in the PC using the PC software - this is NOT the same thing as zeroing the OEM TPS to the ECM.
Also, if applying a 'canned' PC map, be sure you know to which base OEM map it applies
i.e. stock or different exhaust config as starting map.

Have no personal experience of the PC Map options - hopefully someone will advise accordingly
But generally, you can try 2 with stock airbox now, then 3 when you remove it

The one upside of having a pc3 is that you can find loads of places to tune it (although can't speak to Ukraine if that's where you are)
- which is what you should ultimately do rather than 'one size fits all' approach
But make sure you are done with your mods before you invest that money on custom dyno.

I took you guys advise I'm gonna get rid of the PC, my USB to OBD cable is in the mail from a retailer mentioned in one of the stickies.

Would it do much harm to ride in the mean time before I do the tune? My mother inlaw moved in as we'll as sister in law..... Lets just say I'm going crazy for an excuses to leave the house.
