Thumbs down For those of us who want our warranty...

Instead of getting a custom tune, since that voids our warranty, those of us with free flowing and custom pipes, such as D&D and NH, is our best bet an Arrow 2+2 tune? Obviously we have to keep the Air Injection and Airbox, so will this be our best shot? Sorry Pieman, I promise I will be back for your business when I no longer care about my warranty... Shouldn't be too long...

Maybe I should have looked for a use carb'd model...

Thanks, Doe.

Just realized that the d&d slip ons still have the stock headers with the o2 sensors. Arrows do not, so that tune would be damaging. Im guessing TORs is the only tune to use

The Arrows come with new headers, yes, but they have the fittings for the normal O2 sensors.

OH they do? Thats better, would the arrow tune be more suited for slip ons such as the d&d's? compared to the TORs tune of course...
Thank you Forchetto, Doe

doesn't loading *any* tune void the warranty?

I'd think the arrow "factory" tune would be fine for warranty purposes--especially if it's done at the dealer.

It would seem from the wording of the Triumph instruction on warranty claims vis-à-vis TuneECU/Tuneboy software that they are presumably still okay with installing third party EFI (e.g., Power Commander III-V, Bazazz, etc.,) modules which 'piggyback' (actually interrupt the signal between) the ECU/EFI.

Obviously each country will be different but loading an after-market tune with TuneECU will not void your warranty in the United States unless they can prove that it was the modification that caused the failure/damage addressed in said warranty claim.

Greetings,

Do you by chance have any documentation from Triumph showing this warranty information? My dealer keeps telling me I'll void my warranty if I use *the words*, "tune", "ECU", "TuneECU" or "Cable". :-)

Thanks,
