Hi all!
I'm the proud owner of a a new (to me) 675. I've been riding for years now and this is my first Triumph. I've got a thing for Euro bikes, and preceeding the 675 was a Duc 749R and a KTM Superduke. I decided to give up street riding entirely, so the Duke had to go. As for the Duc, after riding my friend's 675 for an entire day at Road America, it was decided that the 675 was more my style.
So I picked up MY 675 and began converting it to a proper track tool. It already had the Penske Triple, front end work, slipper clutch, Woodcraft case covers, the Zard Full system, a PCIII, and a set of Catalyst bodywork. I added Woodcraft clip-ons, rearsets, and frame sliders, and a 520 conversion.
It had a few other goodies on it that were replaced with stock parts. I took off the Brembo M/C and the APRacing calipers to keep it SS legal for CCS/WERA. So now its almost ready to go. Theres always something else to do, right?
As for my other bikes, I have a KTM 525 SMR supermoto thats a blast to ride. Can't beat $30 trackdays, tires that last all season, and being able to slide the bike around like my last name was "Hayden"
