675 coolant drain

i may be overlooking it, but is there an actual block drain plug for the coolant on an '07? we are draining for the upcoming track day, and all i have found is a small bolt on an elbow fitting where the main hose from riders right comes out of the radiator. bolt is on fitting where it connects to the block. we have drained the coolant by removing the lowest block hose and lowest water pump hose, just wondering if we were overlooking the drain plug. really need to know for the infamous safety wiring purposes. any help would be a plus. also, im my 955, water did well. i have gotten mixed reviews on water alone in the 675, vs water wetter mix. any preferences here? thanks guys.

I use a water wetter mix in both my bikes and have had no issues with cooling in traffic or at the track.

And, no, you are not overlooking anything...

Have fun at the track!

Just track days for now... A stay at home wife and two little kids who depend on me for support keep me out of the Shark Tank for now...

I ride primarily with NESBA, but have also ridden at a couple of Sport Bike Track Time events and at an Apex 2 Apex event as well.

I really like the way NESBA runs their track days and have made some great friend with some of their staff, so I keep spending my track dollars there first...

gotcha. we have one coming up in 2 weekends at carolina motorsports park. going through turn one on this one. looking for a few by the end of the year with stt ourselves, and hit or miss with them and nesba next year so we can get the bike dialed in and familiar with the tracks in our region for the following year. maybe we'll run into you sometime out there. understand the stay at home wife and kids bit. mine pushes me out there though. she is into as much as me and loves the atmosphere. just wish i coud talk her into turning a lap though. she enjoys pit boss more. take care and thanks again for the info.
