D675 check engine light

I just bought a 2006 D675 with 533 miles on it. I think the fuel in it is pretty old and the bike started misfiring and the check engine light came on. This was the first time i had ridden the bike since purchasing it and on my first ride I also locked the steering when i parked it not realizing the parking lights stay on if you are not careful about the key position. I found the battery dead after my work day was over and attempted to bump start the bike until I realized the fuel injection would probably not allow me to do that. I jump started the bike and rode it home with the check engine light on. It seemed to be lacking in power and running rough. There was not much fuel left in the bike so I topped off with 93 octane then disconnected the battery trying to clear the code and shut off the check engine light. This did not work and the light remains on and the bike is idling rough. Any ideas?

Unless you or someone you know has a Tuneboy, you will need to take it to the dealer to find out what the code is from and to have it reset.
