Should I wait for 09?

New to the forum, HI! I want to get D675 but can't make my mind up. Should I wait for the 09 or get the current 08? If I was getting a deal on the current model than no brainer but since I am paying retail for an 08, shoud I just wait for the 09. thanks.

Wait until the '09s are coming out, then the dealers will be wanting to move the '08s to make room for the '09s..

Got my '07 out the door for under 9k. Unless there are some real changes (doubted) pick an '08 color and wait. Not many around though.............

get the 09. this is from the dealer expo.
Daytona 675: Evolution with more power (aprox. +3 hp) and less weight (aprox. -6.6 lbs), improved front and rear suspension (now, low and high speed damping control adjustment), better handling through a lighter rear wheel to reduce unsprung weight, quick shifter ready gearing, revised headlight, cockpit and screen. New Nissin monoblock calipers for added stopping power and feel, Pirelli Super Corsa SP tires. Redesigned cylinder head, revised combustion chamber and valves, to lift rev limiter by 450 rpm to 13,950. Taller first gear and hydraulic cam chain tensioner come standard, being previously part of the race kit.

Any word on colors? I'm going to be trading the thruxton in on a D675 this winter, but if the 09's come in white that'll settle it.

Although those improvements sound nice, coming of a Thrux pretty much any new sport bike will be more than enough.

For UK models the colours are red or black for 09
