Pirelli Dragon SuperCorsa Pro vs. Pirelli Diablo Corsa III

Pirelli Dragon SuperCorsa Pro (stock Daytona 675 tire) vs. Pirelli Diablo Corsa III

For those of you who have ridden on both of these model's, I have some questions:

1) What are the handling differences between the two in wet/dry conditions on the street?

2) Which model has better longevity with moderate to heavy street/highway use?

An inch long screw punctured my rear Dragon SuperCorsa Pro with only 2200 km on it and I'm thinking about either replacing it for $250 or getting a pair of Diablo Corsa III's for $340 from baysideperformance.com.

I don't have any experience with the diablo sorsa III, but I do like michenlin pilot power 2CTs better than the super corsas. I feel like it takes too long for the super corsas to warm up, more of a track tire than a street tire.

From what I have read the diablo corsa III has really good reviews.

The OEM Pirellis are a funny hybrid tire. They are street compound tires with a racing pattern on a street carcass. You can only get the OEM tires by ordering them from a Triumph dealer. If you get Dragon SuperCorsa Pros from somebody else, chances are they will be DOT race tires, and not the best idea for use on the street. I don't know much about Pirelli race tires, but typically you start out with some funky low pressures in DOTs. Their carcasses are usually much stiffer than street tires. I would recommend the Diablo Corsa IIIs over SuperCorsa Pros if the SuperCorsas are racing DOTs.
