Lowside 2011 Daytona 675

Hi all,
I'm a new Daytona owner but unfortunately my first trip to the track on this bike resulted in a crash. I've done many track days without a mishap on my other bikes. Anyhow, I'm finding out how expensive it is to crash this bike. I'd like to keep it both track and street. Does anybody have any experience with non-OEM street-worthy plastics?
Thanks!

I always just took the street plastic and lights off and put track plastic on. Track plastic usually has a catch pan at the bottom of the fairing to keep oil leaks and blown engines from oiling up the track and causing mayhem. That's a challenge on the street, because it also collects water and holds it. Some plastic has a removable drain plug, or you could also make a plug. I'm pretty sure Sharkskinz make street aftermarket plastic. Their stuff is outstanding. I had good luck with Armorbodies as well. Hotbodies isn't going to fit as well, in my experience.

It's a squid thing. You wouldn't understand.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

I don't. But you might look over at triumph675.net sales section. There's a fairly regular stream of OEM fairing parts in the classifieds there.

Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes. Good luck

Thanks for the suggestions. Still trying to figure out if I want to make this a dedicated track bike or a combination. Things might become clearer when the physical pain goes away.

Proof, if you actually needed it, that crashing sucks.
