It's not inexpensive, but it is by far the best one on the market...

They don't show the 675 on their website, but it is available... Just call them...

that's one of the versions I found, but is too pricey at this time. I was thinking more along the lines of the plastic lever type.

Thanks

Now I can't remember the name of it, but I have one I used for years when I was riding long distances on the TT600. There was some kind of patent fight about a year after I bought the part, so they have changed a bit. You can find them at any bike shop, and they will know what you are looking for- I must be getting old. I flat can't remember the name of it at all.

Will - is it possibly the Vista Cruise? I came across those, but I don't know which one fits my bike.

Could be, but it had a different name when I got one. It looks a lot like a shoe horn, only with one end bent so it wraps around your grips. It may have been called a throttle rocker or something.

I've looked at the various throttle rockers, but I think something like the vista cruise would be more helpful. I would prefer to lock the throttle in position so I can give my hand a break from time to time.

I like the throttle rocker bettter than a cruise control but I don't like to use the rocker on short rides. It gets in the way of my hand at very inopportune times. If you are going on a long ride, the rocker does allow the hand to rest and flex your fingers without the delay of flicking a cruise control on/off. If you are going on a long ride, put the $10.00 part in your pocket and try it about two tanks in.

I am just concerned with the rocker because the throttle is very touchy, and I don't want to go to stretch my hand and accidently press down on the rocker. I know that when I hit bumps with my hand on the throttle it sometimes lurches forward.

I'm going to try to find a rocker today. I'll give it a try. Thanks for all the input.
