Throttle lock

this product damaged my grips - manufactor promised repair cost
never came thru on promise
all i have to do is cut front brake line
cheap to fix

do not buy this shoddy product - cut my grips up
and really not very effective

sorry guys - my bad wrong thread - throttle lock are dangerous but okay and did not damage my bike .

I had a throttle meister on my sprint st and a throttle rocker. I think i used the throttle meister twice. Throttle rocker will do basicly the same thing, take the pressure off your hand.

If you go to any small hardware store, you can find a thick (7/8in) rubber O-Ring. Slip it over the bar end and then roll in towards the throttle to wedge it in between the rubber throttle grip and the bar end (with friction, it will hold the throttle at a desired position). I've been doing this on my Bandit for quite some time, the part cost me less than a DOLLAR. AND, it's easy to get on and off while riding, not to mention that you can still move the throttle without "unlocking" anything to do so.

The o-ring will not work, because on the 675 the bar end free spins. It is not locked into position like a standard weight.
