Talking I feel like a virgin

I've finally gotten to ride my 675 a little, I got it back in November, had it dor a couple of weeks then it was damaged in a parking lot accident. I finally got it back a couple weeks ago and rode it to work yesterday and today.

It feels so different from my Sprint ST it's like I'm learning how to ride all over again. The biggest difference I've noticed is when turning it really wants to turn. I'll turn into a corner like I normally would and have to correct my line because I'm way inside where I intended to be.

Obviuosly another difference is the seating position. I've got to think about grabbing the tank with my knees and keeping the weight off my wrists. I keep hitting small bumps which cause my throttle hand to blip the throttle making the whole bike lerch.

I love this bike but it's so not what I'm used to. I'm wondering it it will be strange switching back and forth between the 675 and the sprint. anybody have any experience with this?

Anyway I just thought I'd share some observations. I'm not a virgin on the 675 anymore but I sure have a lot to learn.

Try the Heli Bars. 675.net has a group buy on them for almost $80.00 off.

I know what you mean about getting the urge to ride. I'm circling the bike like a vulture! Looks like some more WEEKS of bad weather before I can ride it salt free! Until then.......

Go to page 11 on this link and sigh up.

When I go from the Daytona to the Bonnie, even with much lower bars, it feels like I'm on a chopper! Makes the "other" bike much more relaxed, doesn't it? Tends to show the focus of the 675.

Yes, it will be very weird going back and forth. During december and part of january i was riding my sprint st to work and when i got home, I got on my neighbors zx-6r (she left it in my garage while she was gone for the holidays) and rode that bike around. It was VERY strange and awkward going back and forth. took a few miles to get re-accustomed to the bike after every switch...

Put a GP shifter on one of 'em. Then you will really be fouled up! And add an old Britbike like a Norton or Triumph with a right side shift. Guaranteed problems. It should never stop you.
