Helibars Installed!

I was by the shop today to check out the bike. It is there waiting for the weather to break before coming home. I had the Helibars installed and they look and feel great. Sorry, no pics yet. but if you are thinking of getting them, do it. It feels very sporting in position, taking some weight off the wrist while getting you back and up about 1-1/2". The bars themselves llok great. Now, with Triple Threats' help, we're setting up the suspension and getting ready for March!

THe HeliBars will certainly help with keeping the weight off the wrists in your normal street riding situations... Good luck with the suspension setup. Let me know if you need anything else.

Pics Added

Some shots of the bars, and the finished front end suspension!

675 site still has a group buy going on these. They are well worth it.

Thinking about adding grips from Aprillia Tuono next.
Won't be long now, just another month of crudy weather!

Have you found these bars to be much more comfy?

Yes, I have. Especially around town, which is where I do most riding. While I do use my legs alot to get the pressure off my arms, these provide even easier steering because I have my hands up and back a little bit. The stock bars are great for track use because you will not be sitting still for long. But for road use I highly recommend them. I will not be using this bike for touring at all as it is too light for that, but these bars give me a real nice set up. Steering on this bike is so quick and easy that it is really a matter of comfort.
