Blather goes on over there, and this forum tends to be more technical. I guess we are all too busy riding!

I rode my new (salvage 675) yesterday in Zero degree weather. Of course I was test riding it to determine if I wanted to buy it and take it home to turn into a dedicated track bike - which I did...

It was very, very cold!

I'd agree with Will - Different type of 675 owner over here... More interested in bike specific stuff and none of the extra...

haha, I ride my bike in the rain sometimes if it's guaranteed to be sweet weather by the time I get off work. And being in Austin, this time of year is still ok for riding the motorcycle if you don't mind being a tad bit chilly :-)

Yea, i see a lot of familiar names on here that I also see on T675.

I had an interesting commute to work this morning. Nothing like hitting a patch of ice on the freeway at 70+ mph to let you know you are awake and alive!

Yes, there are a lot of us who go back and forth between the sites. It is fine that it is a bit quieter over here. If you go up and see what the Supersport forum is like, you will see what I expect this forum to be like in five or six years. We will probably still be here and will have a huge body of knowledge about the care and feeding of 675s, especially as they age and develop all the strange little problems aging bikes get.

Some of the early bikes had oil consumption issues. Mine doesn't, but a friend's does. I have not heard much about it since the end of 2006, so I assume the 2007s are more even and generally don't use oil. Otherwise, I can't think of anything Triumph fixed or even needed to fix. The cam chain tensioner can be a problem, but it seems to be a fairly minor nuisance. It will probably become a biger nusiance as the bikes age, like cam chain tensioners are for some Honda models. There may be a fix in time, but for now it is really just something to be aware of and to check during routine maintenance.

If there is anything else of note, I don't know about it.
