The OE tires are what I consider a "sport" tire. Until I get the trackday bug, race tires will never hit the street, as bad as roads are crumbling. I like the feel of the Sport Demons on the Bonnie, as you can feel the road way better than the stock hoops. I don't have enough miles on the OEM tires on the 675 yet, but they feel pretty good. As we are on the subject, has anyone tried the two compound tires on one of these yet? I really liked the Avon ST Storms on my 955. They did GREAT in the rain and were a decent scratching tire. Didn't do much in the 50 mph. cross wind that got me, though.

OK, I`ve now done 150 km`s on the M3`s, on very twisty roads. They seem to turn a lot quicker but that could be because the rear Diablo I took off was stuffed. I`ve had the rear tyre down almost all the way on both sides (still have a 2mm chicken strip to get rid of) and I feel totally confident in them. No noticeable bad habits, as yet. The shop owner assures me that they will last slighter longer than standard pilot powers, so I`ll keep you posted.

Hi Robbo

Could you please post the mileage when they are worn out. It sounds like they (Metzeler) have improved their compound which would not be surprising.

But the Dunlop make the Qualifier overly soft for a street sports tyre IMHO.

I am most interested as to how you fair with kms on the dial.............I want to know how they last, I expect they will handle nicely and have excellent grip as this Metzeler was good at already with it's sports tyres.

cheers,
DaveM
