Which Paddock Stand?

Which Paddock Stand set up seems the best for general maintainence? I did not see one made by Triumph.

No need for one specifically made by Triumph. I have a Pit Bull which I got second hand for the rear stand and a Vortex for a front stand. Whatever works is good. I would recommend putting bobbins on the swingarm and use a stand made for the purpose, since the swingarm is shaped in a way that a bracket will be far less stable.

Thanks for the info Will. I don't see a whole lot the bike needs after that. But I'm sure as time goes on I'll be juicing up that sweet engine.

I would opt for the forward facing handle on the rear stand. It makes getting the bike up on the stand much less of an exercise in balance than a traditional rear facing handle, espeically when putting the bike up on the stand by yourself.

If you get a front stand, opt for the pit bull new stand that lifts from under the lower triple tree rather than one that lifts fronm the bottom of the forks. It will make any future work you do on the front forks much easier.

I sure second the all the advice TripleThreat just passed on- my rear stand is the traditional kind, and it is a royal pain to deal with if you are on your own and have the sidestand off the bike. Pit Bull isn't the only triple clamp front stand, but the advice is good. I couldn't have repaired my crash damage without it, since I had to pull the fork legs to put get the broken clipon off and put the new ones on.
