doubt anyone knows, but...

I took my power commander off my S4 when I sold it. Noticed that there is a different model PC for the 675. I thought when buying the PC that I could move it from bike to bike. Is that not so? is it just a few fittings that are different that can easily be made up, or is the unit itself totally differnet? is it just a way for PC to sell more units? I wouldn't have splashed out on the PC if I'd known I couldnt move it from bike to bike... anyone know if my PC for tt600/S4 can be used with the 675?
cheers

Not sure, so I'm not much help at all. Most people I know who are editing their tunes on Triumphs use Tuneboy.

You might try calling the manufacturer to see what they say. I would be leary of hooking it up without knowing for sure out of fear of blowing up the ECU.

I would be very surprised if it was the same PC. The ECU is completely different since the PC was built for Sagem injection and your new bike has Keihin injection.

beginning to hate the yanks? or your dealer? I'm pretty sure that "dealer hate" is global.

dealer of course
I don't know though, the dealer I bought my bike from have been great its just a shame there so far away, my local, like most london companies give you the "if it aint you, it'll be someone else" feel. when I was in the market for a bike, I wanted to try a few and thats what I did. My local place made me feel bad afer 3 test
ning I was just there for the test rides. And yeah I was, but If they hadn't made me feel bad I'd have bought a 675 from them. Instead I bought it from a dealer that didnt seem to care how long I had the bike out for, or if I was a certain sale. I liked thier approach and they made me feel comfortable. They shift alot of bikes, and I can see why. when I was in the market for a bike I really got to see the true side of some dealers and was really impressed buy some and frankly not impressed by others at all.
I have to say this , but it was actually a honda dealer that impressed me the most, they also let me loose on a 1000rr and I had a smile on my face that I still remember vividly even now.
5m sure there are alot of timewasters, and its a shame that some dealers have been jarred by them, but at the end of the day, the dealer that made me feel the most comfortable got my sale
