Anyone has some sport-touring experience (+250-300 miles/day) with a 675 Daytona? If yes what's your set up and how tall are you?

I want one to replace my 904cc Bonnie (plan to go on the track), but a typical day ride for me outside of Manhattan is 200 miles up to 300 miles (including 80 miles of highway commuting)

200 to 300 miles is certainly doable. I put over 100 on the bike on the track one day. I also commute on it without a problem. A friend does routine 600 mile days on his 675.

I`ve done 700km`s (420 miles) on mine with no problems, could have easily done a lot more. High speed commuting is OK but it`s not very comfortable in heavy traffic stop-start type riding. It gets furiously hot around your legs, too.

That's encouraging. How tall is he? Does he use bar risers, double bubble screen?

No bar risers or screen. I`m pretty short, 5'5" and I`m sat right at the front of the seat to reach the bars, probably about a 4-5 inch gap between my but and the pillion seat. I find at 110kph+ there`s enough wind pressure to give a fair bit of upper body support and the bike`s quite easy to grip with your thighs.

Im pretty short as well 5'6", I dont find a problem with riding a couple hundred miles. But if your looking for extreme comfort your looking at the wrong bike. It does get extremely hot on your inner legs during stop and go traffic. But the way I look at it, no matter how far or short your ride if you get off the bike and you can't tell you were riding then you simply didn't ride hard enough.

His bike is bone stock so far. He is a wiry guy, so he folds up well, but he really is pretty tall- 6-2 or 6-3.
