Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Went up to Webbs of lincoln and rode the 675 today, very nice and enjoyed it very much but to me, although it was perfect in every way I still love my S4 and unless I take a big hit on PX I cannot buy one, If I loved the 675 more or the S4 less i would do it but I am an S4 convert and me and Sir speedy will be together for some time yet. :hammer: :-D :-D

Thought I'd snap a couple of pictures since we could actually see the sun today! Day two of ownership... It's great to have her home...

More miles will roll on this weekend...

I wondered if anyone would notice everything that was bushed aluminum was now powder coated black. It looks awesome and must thank the parts manager, Justin, at Myers in Asheville, NC for doing the job when it was his bike. Yes, I bought this used from him!!

TripleThreat, I love the Graphite Grey as it is my favorite color. IMO, you need to get those reflectors off the front forks, especially if you don't do much night riding. It's the first thing I see in your pics! Sort of sticks out like a sore thumb or even looks like a cyclops or something....

Reviving a dead thread since I just got back from a trackday at Barber this weekend. Great fun. Nerve racking with fear of dumping the new 675, but was able to manage a decent lap time average around the mid 1:50's with 1:52 being my best. I had plenty of other intermediates blowing by me at times, but I also held my own with passes on the slower intermediates.

One sad note that nearly made me cry was a fellow D675 rider from Knoxville riding in the "B" group dropped his beautiful Graphite Grey in the very first session! Damage was minimum with the left side plastic taking the blunt but his foot peg broke too. No replacement foot peg was found at the track nor at the Triumph dealer in Birmingham. Go figure. His day was done. I was sad.

On with a few of my pics:

This pic of the top speed was actually taken a few weeks ago when I completed a trackday at VIR. I was mightly impressed!

Did you get to see the museum at Barber? It looks like it would be worth a trip just for that.

OH yeah! I spent most of Friday afternoon drooling over motorcycles in the museum. I was told there are over 700 motorcycles on display and about 400+ in storage waiting to be refurbished before they put them out. Great stuff!
