no, but I bought a STR after owning a Daytona. I now have both and will not part with either.

I would like to know what the difference is between the two, say pulling away from a dead stop. Do you have to slip the clutch more on the Daytona?

Cool Maybe outgrown Street triple - Daytona the answer ???

After a year doing track school I have reached the point where I am now wanting to get a race bike. The Std Street was/is fantastic after the suspension mods to bring it in line with the "R" version but the riding position compromises cornering & straight line speed. I have considered even getting a 650 Daytona because the used 675's are still a bit pricey. Ideally I would like to keep both but garaging space (read wife's car outside)is the deciding factor.
