Let's just hope this beauty doesn't take off as the next "all the cool kids are doin' it" Japanese rice rocket type bike. I kind of like the exclusivety and rarity of the Triumphs that I see on the road. And if it does take off with all these "look at me", I can go 170mph in a straight line kids all it's going to do is boost my insurance payment. :asb:

It will be interesting to see what the American magazines have to say about it, since they have always been Triumph's harshest critics. The British magazines usually give the Triumph bikes a fair shot. Half of the time the American mags don't even include Triumph in their comparison articles.

Cheers,
Schmitty

we're still talking about Bloor's Triumph here, I bet the $USD price will be EXACTLY the same as the R6. not a penny more.

Don't you just love the fact that triumphs come with SS brake lines stock? That bike must out-brake any SS bike from the big four.

I'd love to see a dyno graph that way I could see how the powerband looks like.

spoke to my dealer today about this. I am really tempted. He says the dealers are to get the lowdown at a meet in Paris at the start of October (It will apparantly be seen for real at the Paris show!). He reckons it will run at similar price to existing Daytona maybe a little over (but just his speculation). He reckons they will not be available to put on the road before January.

January would be quite an improvement over the usual Triumph introduction. My guess is that we won't see the first ones here in Seattle until sometime in early spring, maybe even later.

Right now! I must say that I really do believe the spirit of 675 is only in the rev happy TT, S4 & D4 bloodline, so this should become 675 site!! :-D :-D :-D

BUT Sometimes I change me underpants and sometimes I change me mind!!! :???: :???:
To qoute REM "consider this" In 2XXX some newbie or squid in Houston will buy a second hand S4 from a touareg in th elocal casbah{!!} for 900 yuan :???: And they will look on the interwob for tips on keeping their 'classic' running (with the hydrogen conversion).

They will be better served if the 4 cylinder archive closed with the 4 cylinder bikes? N'est ce pas?

So my bike stops being "cutting edge" and becomes 'by the hedge'

Sorry buddies .............Jon
