Flushing the Radiator

I have an 07 Daytona 675 that constantly gets a dirty coolant system. Well every year since I have had the bike. We have moved so I don't have my normal mechanic anymore. I need to flush it out on my own. Does anyone out there have instructions for flushing out the whole system. Less taking the motor apart?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Smokin Chaplain

There is an article in the January 2010 issue of Motorcycle Consumer News about flushing coolant with a tool called a uView 550000. I don't know much about it beyond the article, but it has some interesting information regarding using vacuum to purge the system and what's left in the system if you don't. I always just undid a coolant hose somewhere near the bottom of the engine and just let the coolant drain out, reattach the hose, refill with water and then repeat the process a couple times. After reading the article, I'm not sure if my shade tree method is as effective as I thought it was.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
