About 130 miles to a tank before the light comes on.

It's entirely dependent upon your right hand and traffic. The best I can remember seeing is about 140 or 150 to the light (I was really bored and frustrated). The worst was about a third as far.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Will's right...you can burn through a tank pretty quick if you're hammering the throttle everywhere you go. On my 675, the best I've ever gotten is about 140 miles to the warning light, and that involved lots of commuting (read boring) riding. My 2008 has a fuel economy readout that you can reset after each fillup and it seems like the best is around 45 mpg.

Just a reminder that from the factory, the fuel economy readings are calculating MPG using Imperial Gallons...

To set US gallons turn ignition on, press and hold all three buttons at once for 5 seconds, speedometer will have a number 2, press the left most button to change the 2 to a 3, then press the middle button to save. You gas meter is now corrected.

Highway work is usually about 150 miles to fuel light. Around town around 130 miles. Works out to 45 highway, 36 town. My '05 955i was great on the highway. 50 mpg with the Triumph pipe. 675 is a blast when you get there.

I was really proud of getting the bike down to 15 corrected miles per wimpy US gallons. It can be done, and I'm pretty sure Jeff has managed even worse at times.

It is amazing how much fuel you can actually go though when you spend the majority of a tank full at WOT. My track bike rarely gets more than 20 miles per gal.

I bet it regularly gets about 13 mpg. Quite an achievement, especially since it's all in the glorious pursuit of going around in circles as fast as possible. How can anything so absurd be so much fun?
