Ign.switch removal?

I need to remove my ignition switch from my triple clamp. The fasteners look to be some form of rivets. Anyone have any experience removing these without screwing up the works? And what is the best way to reinstall it?

They are shear bolts - the heads shear off during assembly once they reach a certain torque, as an anti-theft measure.
You can try to cut slots in them for a screwdriver or just drill the heads off then grab them with a pair of vize grips once ignition is out of the way.
You can either get replacement sheer bolts from the dealer or just use a std socket cap M6 bolt.
