Help me with my bar ends!!!!

Can anyone tell me how to remove the factory bar ends from a '08 daytona 675?

Roll the outer end of the grip back just a little. You will see two holes, top and bottom in the bar. Inside these two holes, there is a little clip that holds the bar end in place. Press those clips to release them from the hole and pull the entire bar end out of the bar.

The bar end and a long steel rod with rubber bushings will all pull out. The whole assembly is about 8" long I would guess...

Awesome.
What a mission!!
Thanks. Worked on the clutch side. Any ideas on how to do it on the throttle side? the two holes are under the throttle.

Loosen the screws (make sure you have a really good screw driver) on the throttle assembly. This will allow the entire throttle assembly to slide in toward the brake perch, thus exposing the end of the bar and the holes will be accessible.
