Signals

Hey 675ers I Recently bought a 2010 675 se. And i love it. I have made some changes. I changed the rear plate and turn signals to integrated and lost the plate frame, and made my own mount for the plate under the seat. then i attempted to install LSL frame sliders and failed, it's not as easy as it looks. The bike shop gave me a hand to complete them. I also bought a magnet tank bag, and came up with the idea to protect that sweet white paint. I bought a kit for putting a clear screen protector for a laptop. What i then did was cut to fit the front\top of the gas tank wear the magnets touch the paint and applied, you would never know it was there. I have a slip-on exhaust, bubble wind screen and xeon lamps on oder the only part i cant seem to locate is the front signals dose anyone know were to get them?
Thanks Paul.

Watsen Designs if you are looking for flush mounts. Not sure if they have the SE color yet...

not that I have ever used it but there is a company that sells clear plastic film kits to protect your bike from rock chips and scratches. It will do nothing for a highside so I dont even bother. but my bikes are race only and I subscribe to the if your not crashing your not trying hard enough train of thought.

In regards to the front signals, check out British Customs. They have both the Protons and the Watsens. I put the matte black Watsens on my 2010 SE and they look sweet.

I can vouch for those. They are AMAZING.......

Easy to install with OEM connectors attached to the LED wires.

They look AMAZING on the bike and actually work unlike a lot of other turn signals.

Best.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Greggs flush mounts. First, they actually MOUNT FLUSH! What a concept. Past that, they don't stick out, ohh yeah, cuz THEY'RE FLUSH MOUNTS!!
Protons look universal, those other ones look like windshield washer nozzles off an 80's Accord (IMLTHO).

Signals are dumb. No one pays attention to em, most people don't use them in their car, and its a pain to keep hittin that little switch a couple hundred times a minute on the highway.

IMHO where I live (San Francisco) I know that if I didn't use my turn signals I would have gotten hit by now and I know that if everyone used their turn signals there would be less accidents. There are a lot of four way stops in SF and it's better to use your turn signal so that if you do in fact get hit your not liable for NOT using your turn signal.

As far as what type of turn signals to use, I highly recommend the British Custom ones.

• Housings are CNC machined from billet aluminum
• No plastic or fake carbon
• High quality airbrushed finish
• LED current matches stock signal, no flash rate issues
• Machined reflector and solid urethane lens directs light straight forward and to the side
• Bolt and cable arrangement optimized for 2009 675
• Free replacement warranty

Neither Gregg's Customs or Watsen Design has the SE color. I spoke with the Watsen guy today, and he is currently moving his shop right next to a Triumph dealership. He is going to see if they will lend him a fairing so he can color match them. Looking around mid October finished product.

In the mean time, I ordered some proton flush mounts until the Watsen's are done.
