Thinking about going to HID headlight

I'm looking at going to the HID headlight and was wondering what you should recommend for a nice clean brighter headlight?

Haven't converted to HIDs yet, but from what I've researched I'd look into Phillips slim line ballasts and 5000 Kelvin light bulbs. Here's a site to start your own research. HID kits

Are these good kits? Not sure with bikes, but 99% of the kits for cars/trucks will melt the stock lenses and/or burn up the wiring.

Got my kits from these guys. Was >1 hour to install, came standard with a FREE lifetime warranty, ballast and wiring was able to tuck away in the existing space and it made a huge difference in night riding.

if you are going to upgrade to a HID system, i would recommend purchasing a better charging system for your bike as the Triumph's charging systems are known to go out with very simple electrical mods

On the contrary, HID lighting is extremely efficient electrically. The OEM low beam on the 675 is a standard 55 watt H7 bulb producing approximately 1250 - 1400 lumens. An HID setup of a H7 compatible 35 watt setup uses 20 watts less and gives off 3000 - 3200 lumens, twice the output
Hi beam is rated as standard 55/60 watt H4 bulb at 1500 - 1650 lumens versus the HID 55 watt H4 putting out 4600 - 5300 lumens, blindingly bright to oncoming traffic.

I saw an older KTM Adventurer last night converted to HIDs. And let me tell you, from miles away I saw him. I know some states outlaw HID conversions because the lenses/reflectors are not configured for same. I say "Too Bad!"
