Question TuneBoy - yes or no?

I'm just a mouse click away from ordering a TuneBoy starter kit from down under - www.tuneboy.com.au
500 AUD=366 USD. I've seen screen dumps from the software and it's relly neat; "sidestand down-yes", bike in gear-no". Plugging into your loved one for that special sensitive experience...you know the feeling.
But then again - is it worth it?
Tomorrow I'm spending 3h to go down to my dealer to find out why my MIL-lamp (the yellow ECM) is going on and off. They are just going to read the stored DTC's so had I had the TB I could have done it myself. Track day is coming up on monday so I don't want that yellow light in my face should it light up again. My SE-08 is still under warranty so I'm not relly in to remapping (-yet). Just want a simple diagnostic tool to let me know if I'm pretty much ok if a low-priority sensor is out of tune one morning when I'm off to work. What to do? What to do?

The short answer is Yes.

Do you really need it? Not really, unless you are planning to tune your bike to the limits, but just knowing you could, if you wanted to, is worth the price of entry! Besides, you can do all kinds of maintenance work with it even if you stick with stock maps.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Thumbs up gizmos and gadgets are fun

That was about the answer I wanted to justify that transaction of money to the other side of the globe. What else to do with the bike in the basement this winter...
