Smile New Bike

Hi all, Im Lee-anne. Just picked up my new 09 Daytona 675 last week. very excited! the running in part is no fun, so am looking forward to being able to ride the way i want to instead of what the sticker says. thought i would come in and say hello.

thanks for the welcome. i got the black one. it was just sooo sexy! i didnt mean to buy a new bike. my bf was getting the new sprint, and while waiting for him i just kept staring at the tona...mmmm...so the day after i took the gixer out on the track i traded it in for the new tona.

Great looking bike Edonthenet!
Triumph aftermarket (and others) have (small black) neat plates to put where the passengers pegs used to be. I got it and they sort of puts the icing on the cake....

Thanks. I think all the 675's look great, just a really aggressive styling. That picture was taken in Feb when I bought my bike. I've since dumped the passenger pegs, I got some Sato rearsets for more legroom, did a DIY tail tidy and recently switched over to HID's. I haven't taken any more pics so that's why the pegs are still on even though the rear seat is gone in the pic.
As far as the passenger peg mounting I went to the auto parts and got 4 black plastic plugs with fins on the shaft that fill the holes nicely. Then a few coatings of Sharpie on the bare frame area and there's very little sign that the pegs were ever there. Just another way of cleaning up that area.
