D675 MCN sportsbike of the year
Thought you may be interested, the four top sports bikes tested by MCN here in the UK have been put through there paces, (they all won there individual shootouts), on the Isle of man, the shootout was between the new Aprillia RSV4, Yamaha R1, KTM RC8R and the daytona 675 se, they where tested on the roads, motorways with and without pillion and also by a top TT racer, the litre bikes where the best at outright speed and power but lost out due to real world ability and usability just too much for a roadbike, KTM had lousy fueling and cost almost as much as an RSV4, RSV4 was too much a pure racebike and cost double the price of a 675, the R1 was brilliant but again a racebike on the road which is just too track biased and is impossible to carry a pillion in any sort of comfort, yes the 675 is the MCN bike of the year, look at the article on MCN.com.
