Just called USAA, $28 per month for a 2009 Daytona 675 or Street Triple 675, full coverage, $500 deductible. No difference between the 'Tona and the nekkid.

I'm 35, married, no moving violations in the last 15 years or so, but did have one expensive single-car parking lot fender-bender ($4k ) about 5 years ago. Have two cars, house and life with USAA as well. I was thrilled it's so reasonable; it's actually less than my 2004 HD 1200 Sportster was. Even the Speed Triple 1050 was only $32.50 per month; my HD was $45 or $48.

Bought online with Progressive last night $406 yr (paid them half).

For fun I ran a quote from Geico tonight (same coverage) and get this... $106 yr. What the HECK ?!!!

One fourth?!!!

Oh yeah - you betcha... I bought the Geico policy... I'll cancel the one from the nice lady as soon as their 'systems' are back up.

Shop around ; -)

It costs a little more than the state minimum I had for my cbrF3 which was $134/yr. I lost out on a head on argument with a car thus the high bodily injury limits. (wont go cheap again)

Your 12-month premium:

Pay in full - $1,320.00

To be honest. Your insurance shouldn't stop you so much from track days. Most companies I've ever looked at will not cover you if you're in some form of competition. Even if it's legitimate. I'm sure there are some out there that will... at an added cost. So if that's what you're waiting for, good idea. But if you're waiting just until you have full coverage probably won't matter.

you guys should feel that you are living on easy street then, for in Aus to insure my zzr250 3 years ago (i had only just got my licence) it cost $250 and that was rating 1 for a 34 yr female. after riding for almost a year i got a ducati st2 and my insurance doubled to $550. 18months later wrote that off and had another claim (it was a really bad week i had) got a gsxr1000 and insurance was now $1200. after 9months traded it in to get my new baby 09 675 and insurance is still over $800. that is full insurance. i would love to be paying what you guys are!

I'm switching to geico. Got crazy low quote online from them. $335 a year for minimum liability only + theft only (comprehensive w $50 deductible). This is for 3 bikes, an FZ1,Striple, and a dirtbike.

The theft coverage is totally cheap $90 a year for striple, $26 a year for the other 2 bikes. I live in Los Angeles so theft is a major concern.

This is half the cost of my current progressive policy and 20% of the cost of the Lib Mutual quote. And I have 2 tickets in last 3 years.

Don't let the fact that you don't have full coverage stop you from track days, most insurance companies won't cover anything that was done in a "competition" unless you add it (for big $$$) so the only way full coverage would help there is if you were able to lie and say it happened somewhere else.

I have the texas state minimum liability on my '07 675 and full coverage on my '07 S3 on one policy with Progressive. The S3 is $350 a year and the Daytona is $73 a year.
