Does anyone know for sure what the fix is for a low fuel light that comes on way early, or stays on all the time? My Daytona's still under warranty, but I'd rather not mess with taking it in if I can fix it myself.

Never mind, I figured it out. Guess I'll have to take it to the dealer and let them replace the sending unit, since it's pretty expensive.

Having just picked up a 955i (2002) last week and rode it back to Athens (superb ride!), I was worried to see the fuel light coming on typically 100-120 miles in from full. What is the normal range you would expect before it comes on and how long do you have before it runs out? Clearly I do not have an owners manual yet..., :???:
