OK 5 days, 500 miles,& its had its breakin oil change. Other than trying to get used to the bars (probably going to Heli's when money permits), I love this bike. 1 question comes to mind, Does anyone else get a howling sound that sounds like it comes up from the front of the fairing? It starts at about 38 MPH, & lasts until 47 MPH. It almost sounds like the tire singing from being mounted backwards. It isn't, it just sounds like it tho. :???: Not sure if this is normal for this bike, or if it goes away in time or not. I've ridden the Sprint and the Trophy & not heard this type of sound from either of them.
BTW, engine checked out strong & healthy, and it handles like a dream. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong mechanically, 2 other Triumph people have heard the howl also, so its not just me. I know there are a lot of "could be's", just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar?
