changing a daytona front fairing

Hi All

I love my daytona 900 a lot but have found it gets a bit uncomfortable on really long journeys with the handle bars so far forward so I bought a superbike kit and put some touring bars on it, this does the trick for me and is much more comfortable if im going for a trip.

This got me thinking, i dont want to change my bike or buy a second at the moment but like the idea of changing the look of mine from time to time.

Would the top front fairing of either a trophy or trident fit onto my daytona?

I know this is a strange question but just wondered

thanks

I don't know about a direct fit doubtful, but if you look up parts on Bike Bandit for the bikes in question you may get an idea of fairing mounts and compatible bodywork. Anything can be made to work if you have the resources.

The upper or cowl fairing on pre-96 Trophys will fit but the mounting bracket will be different so you'd have to get that too. Then the gauges would have to be relocated as well. Seems like a lot of work but I guess it could be done. The Trophy was redesigned in 96 so I'm not sure if the newer upper fairing would fit, probably not.
