Battery Question????

Ok, this is the first battery change I've ever had to do. I bought a new battery, filled the acid, and started a 1 amp charge at about 3:45 this afternoon. My question is, can I leave the battery on my charger for more than 12 hours without messing it up. My charger is constant and does not turn off automatically when battery is fully charged and there is no indicator of when the battery is fully chargered (such as an led light) on the charger.

12 hours @ 1 amp should be about perfect. I wouldn't let it go much farther than that.

Good to hear!!! as long as your ride at least 30 miles once a week, that battery should last a long time, for a motorcycle battery, anyways.

you can also pick up a battey tender at walmart. i got one for just under 20 bucks tax and all. plus it has a float mode so it wont overcharge your battery.
