Cool Newbie With Daytona 1000 questions

Hello, I am the new proud owner of a Black 93 Daytona 1000 sport, however the bike has been sitting for a few years now and has only been lightly used with 11,000 miles on the clock, the brake fluid is in need of changing as is the coolant and looking at it am I right in thinking the clutch is hydrolic ?? the thing is I am am not sure where to begin with changing these fluids (more so the coolant - locations of drian plugs etc) so any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Charlie

Well changed the brake fluids last night the old fluid was like dirty engine oil, cleaned up the resivoirs and got all the sludge out, I could see all the bits of snot coming out in the old fluid I think that it was was the worst brake fluid I have seen, Just got the clutch to bleed up now which I will do tonight as I was in the garage till 11.15pm last night doing that and had to get up at 6.00 am for work all worth it though and spotted the coolant drain plugs while I was at it

Changing the brake fluid will make a world of difference.
What tyres are you running on the bike?

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Glad your finding your way around the bike, keep it up. Make sure the battery is good keep it on a battery maintainer, they are really sensitive to power fluctuations.

Currently Michelin Macadam's front and rear - seem good enough
