95 T3 Daytona Screen

I am working at fixing up a 95 T3 Daytona. The screen trim is coming loose and looking at the parts book there is a Screen Trim Clip T3700057 cheap and I ordered a couple.

For the life of me I cannot see how they are supposed to go on and look right. Maybe the part is wrong, maybe the screen trim is too thick as I acquired it. Clip pic is below.

If anyone has how they are supposed to look on a 95 Daytona, please send a pic.

Thanks.

I think if memory serves me they clip over the ends of the rubber trim strip where they terminate at the upper fairing. The intent is to secure the ends of the rubber strip to the rear lip of the screen. I threw mine away long ago.

That is what I was hoping for.

My rubber strip is trying its best to unleash itself (starting at the ends) from the windshield.

Glue and double-sided sticky do not seem to work as a substitute. The strip seems to have a mind of its own.
