Should be easy to fix. On the ST there is an empty Relay slot that can be filled to get both on. It ought to be the same on the Daytona!

should already be taken care of on US bike Rexx - there is indeed a separate relay for the left headlight; so either the bulb is burned or the relay might be bad (or missing) - check below your seat first off to see if it's there!
There is not significant current difference whether on low or main beam for the amount of time it will take to flip the main/low switch for a few secs to check the high beams, CmacTrat.
If the high beams work OK, try swapping relay 2 & relay 3 - if the result is the same, you have a bad bulb; if they swap (high beam out, low beam good) then you have a bad relay
