1995 Daytona with 70 miles??

Crap...why do I have to find these bikes when I have no green??

Was looking thru the local Craigslists and found a guy with a PERFECT 1995 Daytona.....what a headturner! Even the WIFE liked the photos. I can't come up with the $$ at present so thought I'd stick a note here on the List. The link is:

13 yrs old, but take a look at it.....I "have lust in mah hart" as ex-Prez. Jimmy Carter would have said. The Sprint is jealous.....but she's safe for the moment.

OMG, that is beautiful. TG I can resist.

While you're wringing your hands think about the 13+year old hardened rubber o-rings, tires and gaskets waiting to surprise you...

if ever I've seen a museum piece. Amazing. And I like the styling of the early (first) generation triples moreso than the much later editions.

I sent the guy an email. who knows. It would look really good in my garage:

The wife and I had a heart to heart, but with the current financial situation the Sprint and the Ninjette (older 250 Ninja, my fun but economical tinkertoy) will have to suffice. Yes, there will be bits which will have to be replaced on the Daytona....but, what a bike!! I LOVE the "frog-eye" look of the bike and would love to have it in the garage....but it is not in the cards....hope you have the space and the $$.

Running it in on synthetic is not good. Sweet looking machine though, maybe it is genuine? Good price too me thinks, they still fetch 6k+ here in Oz and thats with plenty of miles on the clock.

Cheers,

Roden

good looking....but

I'll keep my Super III. I don't buy the price. It seems a little too good to be true. Besides, my baby would smoke that thing!!!
