brick in radiator

was out sat gone and after a good ride pulled up at the petrol station so my m8 could get fuel ,i went to check tyre pressure and as i did i noticed the radiator wa squrting water at me ,i phoned triumph to come and pick it up ,turns out it was a ittle brick gone in there £550 bill i was shocked ,as this happend to anyone else

Its sorta one of those things, the bike is very open to that kind of impact from the front tyre,,,some guys go an entire life time on a Triumph and it never happens and for some others it happens more than once

Ouch, sorry to hear that.

Triumph had an optional mudguard extender for the front and rear. It's a few quid, but worth the price. Installation is easy too.

Sorry to hear at that price an all,I was thinking of making or buying a wire mesh gaurd trouble is does it affect the cooling as I have found these bikes seem to run hot.

thanx for the replies,the rad its self is £350 for the 675 ,ive decided to go threw the insurance but have got to pay £250 excess,ive ordered a cover for it now so hopefully it should b ok now
