paint codes
I was able to identify the color and paint codes for the YELLOW portion of my '95 Super III (racing yellow, Dupont # BEC 1514, Triumph touch up code T3120300-FA), but the lower 1/5 of the side fairings is painted a matte black/dark gray. This is NOT the Diablo or Jet blacks, which were used primarily to paint the ENTIRE bike (especially the special editions). The color on the lower portion of these fairings is quite dull, more a gray than a black, and designed to sort of blend in with the engine. No dealership (or Triumph itself) has been able to identify this color. Anyone know the proper name for this color, an/or its color code? Or do I simply have to get a color scan from my body shop an hope for the best?

paint codes
Thank for the paint codes, saved me some work, now all I need is a seat cowl to paint!
Are you sure the black is not the natural colour of the plastic with a texture?.

It is standard black. It is not textured and not gray. It is flatted black. Paint the part in question yellow and clearcoat it. Then, apply a flat black singlestage to the bottom portion.
