Does anyone know if you can fit a centre stand to a daytona?
(or center stand for our american friends)
The trophy uses one and with triumph's modular concept I would assume the frames are the same.
I've had a quick look and I can't see how iit would fit.
Getting the bike on a paddock stand on your own is no fun....
TIP don't have a full tank! So i was thinking of getting a second hand one that I could pop on for maintenance purposes.
The alternatives would be:
A. Organise beer & putting the bike on paddock stand parties with my mates.
B. Keep doing it on my own and ending up with b*****x the size of coconuts although it might be a cheap alternative to a vasectomy.

Hey Seth,

Found this info that probably answers your question. Thinking of getting one for my Daytona CE (2002 SSSA) myself.

Thanks for that .. I checked out there web page:

http://www.sw-motech.com

Unfortunately they only do them for the later models mine's a 94 super3 .. they look quite good though the sort of thing you could take with you on a tour ... doing the chain on a side stand's a pain.

You can fit a Trophy center stand to your T3 Daytona. All the mounting points are there, all you have to do is source all the parts and install. There have been a few that have done this and they liked the outcome.

I just purchased a Pitbull stand that makes loading the bike onto the stand much easier than the conventional track stand. I am able to hold onto the left clip on with my left hand and install the stand under the bike with my right. It kind of works backwards compared to a regular stand but it works great.

This is the one I have, only without the spools.....

I have a 95 Super 3 and I installed the Trophy centerstand and grab rail. Or maybe it was for a Sprint, I can't remember. They're probably the same . Anyway, if I can do it, anyone can. ( My bike is for sale, by the way). Brad

hinkley-
I too purchased one of those pit-bulls for my daytona thinking it was the perfect solution for the heavy t3 daytona, but when i tried to use it the arm didn't reach out enough to clear the left side/fairing/pegs etc.....so i had to return it
am I missing something here?

Something's wrong, but I'm not sure what. I have the Pit Bull rear stand for my Daytona, that fits through the rear axle. Works great. Is that the stand you have?

Oops, I just noticed you have an older model bike, so I don't know what the differences are. Nevermind.
