It sounds like you've scored yourself a smokin' deal!
Congrats! ...and welcome to the family!

First of all thanks for the replies! I was looking at the handlebar configuration of some other bikes, would I be able to just bore out some holes in my existing triple tree and attach dirt bike handlebars with some universal risers. I know I 'could' do it, but can the triple tree stand the torque?
Hey, just FYI. I finally received confirmation that Southbay sold my undertail exhaust to a local dealer who installed the entire exhaust system on my Daytona I show a picture of in a previous post. Southbay told me it cost the previous owner $1200 back in 2000. The bad news for everyone else is; Southbay no longer sells that exhaust. I wish I could come up with a few based on the number of people who have asked me where they can get one like it.
After decades of owning Japanese and German sport machines I have my first Triumph. A 1998 T595 Daytona with 13k miles in that super cool yellow. The bike has a "West Coast" high pipe, frame sliders and the solo cowl. Never had a triple but I like the torque these engine produce. The header pipe drags on right handers and now has a couple of scuffs in it but what the hey.
