Alarm fuse location '03 955 Daytona

Can anyone let me know the location of the inline fuse for the dealer fitted datatool alarm on a daytona 955 2003 model?

A friend of mine has phoned me to see if it's the same as my sprint but alas it is not.

He's had Fuse no.2 (30A) blow and after replacing it the bike won't start and the alarm won't go into service mode.

According to the datatool info he has this is probably because the inline fuse has gone.

Unfortunately the supplying dealer didn't write the location down on the datatool installation sheet that came with the bike.

Any info appreciated
Thanks

Datatool alarm

Sparky, I have to reply to this one, I do not reply very often as I am a new '04 Daytona 955i owner,I still in the learning mode with this bike.I have been searching since last March of 2007 for my inline Datatool fuse for the alarm.Litterally I have removed all tailstock pieces, side fairings, front cowling, seat etc etc, no luck.Contacted my dealer , exact same thing, they had no idea of the location , no one ever wrote it on the datatool sheet and the dealer would not contact the previous owner for me.

3 weeks ago, my brother and I (beer in the fridge ready ) were determined to find it.Turned on the ignition, began pulling one fuse from the standard fuse box one at a time watching the red LED for the alarm hoping that someone may have just patched into an existing circut.Pulled the headlamp fuse , "Bingo", someone had done just that, patched into a circut.Apparently it's quite common in dealerships for this practice.

I'm now running on the firm belief that I do not have an "inline" fuse per say.
I plan on changing this very soon so that it's on it's own inline fuse and not piggybacking on other circuts for safety and security reason, hence why I don't have a problem publicly stating where my alarm fuse is located.

Hope this helps........
