It's had the sprag clutch done as well .. as threepot say's always check this they tend to go around 30,000 miles on the older bikes .. this needs the engine out to replace so can be costly !!

This problem can be solved. I've got two Super III. So I think, I can sell one. There might be one problem: It's in Germany (hey, also EU) near Hannover.
The bike has run 38000 km, is build in 1994 and in an original good shape. Needs new tyres.

Thanks for the recent replies, sorry for not posting/contacting recently, but i've been working abroad.

Thanks MCQ but i think the US is probably prohibitively far away in terms of the expense involved of getting the bike back to the UK.

YellowTrumpet I'll get in touch to chat further. I know you've had Triumphant rebuild the engine, but 37k shows elsewhere so I'll just have to come to terms with that to go further, but it's no particular big deal as my VFR has 42k, though I've rebuilt that once.

YellowIII - I'll drop you an email to find out more and get photos. I've just received the necessary documents from the DVLA in the UK about registering a vehicle for the first time to see what the costs involved are. I got the forms in response to a bike available in Holland, but that guy seems to have gone off the radar.

And 3Pot, thanks for the heads up, but I can only see one on ebay (now none) but it was from a poster to this forum and was in proper need of a proper service judging by his posts in the past 18 months. He initially tried to sell it for £2500 in MCN, but settled for £1400 on ebay this evening. I wouldn't have gone near it after a bit of research.

I have a 94 Daytona Super 111 with just over 5000km. It has never been hurt, always maintained and has been sitting for almost 10 years in my studio.
I just ordered new carb bits as the gas was leaking.
New tire's, almost most like new! Had a bit of paint work done as I had a tank bag on it which ruined the original paint but other than that never been hurt.
